Hello Pegasi! If you are new here, welcome. I’m Mats, just a random guy in the world with ambitious goals and an obsession with trying to save the ocean🌊
Exited to be doing this weekly now so let’s dive into whats happened!
Finishing and starting anew
Working on myself is a long-term goal of mine and during the recent months (april/may) I ended up being a slacker with very little progress made. My time at TKS has also come to a close, so now I’m kind of in a state of chaotic imagination. Not being able to put ideas down on paper, but really wanting to get shit done😤
Luckily for me the weekend just before this I had gotten into a program called buildspace, a neat program for people who wan to build cool shit. And that’s exactly what I did this week… kind of.
The first week of buildspace has been dedicated to committing yourself to ONE idea, only one☝️ but that doesn’t cut it for me. So, i made two “ideas” that I will commit my life to for the next six weeks working at buildspace. First and foremost, I’ve been granted the opportunity to work alongside one of my best buds Sofus to make…
Solon ai! ft.buildspace
Cool name right?😎 Basically, we’re creating an ai tool to help students learn better, faster and in a more personalised way through “storytelling”. We’re still in early early stages of development but this Sunday we actually launched the beta test version to enable feedback from testers!
This is a minor win in the long battle ahead of us, but I have full faith in this. Waking up at 05:00am every day and getting to work is one of the requirements me and Sofus (my good friend) agreed upon before starting this. No rest for the wicked!!!🤯
Lastly I’ve given myself the challenge of putting myself and the projects I work on out there more. So, in the foreseeable future, me and Sofus will be starting a podcast, as you do. Make short/long-form content and really try to get out there more. Hopefully I’ll see you on the frontlines of the battlefields🫡
Now you may feel like you’ve been click baited when you saw the title, but i assure you that there’s a reason for it. You see, if you submit 4/6 weekly updates during buildspace you are invited to San Francisco for three days to look at what others have built, but also showcase your own creation. Albeit this costs a lot of money which a broke 17 year old student doesn’t have, I believe in the goal and possibility of Solon. So, will I make it to San Francisco? We’ll have to wait and see🗿
Other Opportunities
Whilst joining buildspace is awesome, I was also allowed to join a yearly event here in Norway called Fremtids-fredag (Future Friday). Here I joined a panel talk related to my high school where I shared my experience of going there and the importance of building a good “class unity”. This was my first ever panel I’m ever grateful for the opportunity that i got. 🙇♂️
And now for something completely different.
The first instalment of my dark fantasy novel series has for the moment been scheduled for release in December 2025!🤯 This is however bound to change, but this is still pretty exiting news to share. The name for both the series and the book is still undecided, because I can’t decide🙄
To send you of I’m introducing an end section of the newsletter I’ve so fittingly dubbed “The Oceanic Passage”. A small reflective thought I’ve made myself during the week that I see fit to be shared.
Frustration creates more frustration, which again feeds your fear and insecurities. This you have control over. Do not let yourself be frustrated, and you won’t feed your burdens.

Take care until next time.
